Иосиф Емельянович Мандельштам (1846-1911)— лингвист, историк русской литературы, состоял профессором русского языка и словесности в Гельсингфорсском (ныне Хельсинском) университете. В электронной библиотеке ГПИБ выложена его диссертационная работа «Опыт объяснения обычаев индо-европейских народов, созданных под влиянием мифологии» (1882).
Автор проводит сравнительный анализ обычаев различных народов, старается показать их сходства и различия на основе мифологических сюжетов и мотивов. Подробно рассматриваются брак, рождение, погребение, празднование времен года.

Markets continued to grapple with the economic and corporate earnings implications relating to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. “We have a ton of uncertainty right now,” said Stephanie Link, chief investment strategist and portfolio manager at Hightower Advisors. “We’re dealing with a war, we’re dealing with inflation. We don’t know what it means to earnings.” Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried. "We as Ukrainians believe that the truth is on our side, whether it's truth that you're proclaiming about the war and everything else, why would you want to hide it?," he said.
