Quest 3S должен стать заменой Quest 2. На это основная ставка, ведь самый популярный шлем в мире выходил аж в 2020 году и уже знатно подустарел морально. Но есть большие сомнения, что новинка сможет заменить и повторить хотя бы половину успеха старичка.
В Quest 3S нет абсолютно ничего революционного. Даже разрешение аналогичное — 1832x1920. Ну ладно, MR добавили. Но до сих пор нет достаточного контента, который бы хоть как-то стимулировал пользователей к покупке. А магия автономности уже прожита на Quest 2 🤷♂️
Лично я на прошлый НГ получил подарок в виде Quest 3 и 3S покупать не планирую. Но кто-то всё же ждёт официальную презентацию новинки на Meta* Connect и старт продаж. А вы не из их числа?

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a driving force in markets for the past few weeks. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee.
