We’ve just realized that we almost never write about “paper architecture”, i.e. unbuilt projects: almost a year ago, we wrote a post on the Mile-High skyscraper Frank Lloyd Wright had described in his book, “A Testament”, and today’s series will be about a project that could have drastically changed New York’s skyline. We are talking about a skyscraper designed by I.M. Pei, one of the world’s best known modernists, which was to replace Grand Central.

The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. The Security Service of Ukraine said in a tweet that it was able to effectively target Russian convoys near Kyiv because of messages sent to an official Telegram bot account called "STOP Russian War." "Russians are really disconnected from the reality of what happening to their country," Andrey said. "So Telegram has become essential for understanding what's going on to the Russian-speaking world." A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts.
