Столичный суд избрал меру пресечения владельцу, сдававшему квартиры и иным фигурантам по делу о незаконной миграции и организации занятий проституцией

Постановлениями Кузьминского районного суда города Москвы:

▶️ Поликарпову Андрею Николаевичу;
▶️Егоровой Екатерине Олеговне;
▶️Ильиной Ольге Петровне;
▶️Абдуллаеву Тимурлану Шабданбековичу;
▶️Кылычбеку Уулу Абдиназару,
обвиняемых в совершении преступлений, предусмотренных ч. 3 ст. 322.1, ч.1 ст. 241 УК РФ, избрана мера пресечения каждому
в виде заключения под стражу на срок 2 месяца 00 суток, до 20 января 2025 года.

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred." These administrators had built substantial positions in these scrips prior to the circulation of recommendations and offloaded their positions subsequent to rise in price of these scrips, making significant profits at the expense of unsuspecting investors, Sebi noted.
