FOR: experimental electronic musicians and performers
DEADLINE: January 31st
ARTIST FEE: 5800 SEK (+/- 500€) + travel and accommodation

INFO:

Kallelse is a concert series aiming to push the borders of how electronic music is performed live.
Since 2022 we have staged instrument designers, dancers, live programmers, dollmakers, game developers, DJs, pottery makers, robotics engineers, karaoke hosts and more, presenting a breadth of perspectives on the electronic live performance.

The concert series is curated by composer Asta Norborg, and takes place at Inkonst in Malmö, Sweden.
From March to May we will host 3 concerts, with 3 acts each night performing for up to 30 minutes each.
We are therefore looking to fill 9 artist slots with a variety of innovative live practices.

Each artist is awarded a fee of 5800 SEK (pre-tax) and will have travel and lodging paid.

The open call is global, however most acts selected will be within Europe due to budget constraints. But do not hesitate to apply from anywhere.
BIPOC and queer performers are especially encouraged to apply.

The open call closes midnight January 31st and you will get a reply at latest February 23rd.
The artists for the march 11th concert date will receive their reply sooner.

WhatsApp, a rival messaging platform, introduced some measures to counter disinformation when Covid-19 was first sweeping the world. READ MORE Pavel Durov, Telegram's CEO, is known as "the Russian Mark Zuckerberg," for co-founding VKontakte, which is Russian for "in touch," a Facebook imitator that became the country's most popular social networking site. Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred." Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis."
