В ведомстве считают, что видный коммунист не мог себе её позволить и не объяснил, откуда взял деньги на покупку элитной недвижимости, поэтому потребовали её конфисковать. Суд удовлетворил иск частично и постановил обратить в доход государства только 10 млн рублей, поскольку остальные 5 млн депутат взял в ипотеку. То есть Долгачёв сможет и дальше владеть недвижимостью, если найдёт нужную сумму.
