За цей час дещо більшою стала частка греко-католиків (вона зросла з 8% до 12%).
10% назвали себе «просто християнами», а 18% відповіли, що не відносять себе до жодного з релігійних віросповідань.
Конфесійне самовизначення має виразну регіональну специфіку. Найбільше число православних є характерним для Центрального регіону (67%).
На Півдні вони становлять 56%, на Сході — 53%. На Заході країни частка православних становить 38%, тоді як 40% жителів цього регіону віднесли себе до греко-католиків.
