Как гласит сообщение пресс-службы администрации города, Долгий имеет профильное образование, работал инженером в Мостостроительном отряде в Тынде и в ФКУ ДСД «Дальний Восток», а также заместителем начальника – главным инженером в Амуруправдоре.
Не исключено, что в администрации города появится ещё и 11-й вице-мэр. До сих пор вакантной остаётся должность замглавы, курирующего управление по работе с муниципальными учреждениями образования.
Отметим, у мэра Москвы Сергея Собянина семь заместителей. У главы Новосибирска тоже семь. У мэра Екатеринбурга – девять, а у главы Нижнего Новгорода – всего четыре. Всё это – города-миллионники, тогда как население дальневосточной столицы составляет 600 тыс. человек.
