ESSS has received the first batch of 27,500 solar glasses (out of 150,000) from Astronomy for Equity, funded by the IAU OAE!

🎉 These solar glasses will be distributed across Ethiopia to ESSS branches and school clubs, supporting outreach, education, and safe solar observation.

Ethiopia is among 12 countries receiving these glasses, alongside Mexico, Puerto Rico, Algeria, Senegal, Mozambique, Tunisia, Madagascar, Libya, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan.
