Речь идёт, в первую очередь, о пункте, согласно которому представители СМИ могут распространять информацию, полученную от госорганов, только через СМИ, от которого они были аккредитованы.
По мнению истцов, это требование нарушает сразу две статьи Конституции — 20 и 39, а также недавно принятый «Закон о массмедиа», ограничивая право свободно получать и распространять информацию.
Председательствует на процессе судья Межрайонного суда по гражданским делам Расул Карагаев.
Интересы журналистов представляет известный казахстанский юрист из Международного Фонда защиты свободы слова «Әділ сөз» Сергей Уткин.

Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. For example, WhatsApp restricted the number of times a user could forward something, and developed automated systems that detect and flag objectionable content. Stocks closed in the red Friday as investors weighed upbeat remarks from Russian President Vladimir Putin about diplomatic discussions with Ukraine against a weaker-than-expected print on U.S. consumer sentiment.
