В 2024 г. в Чечне было выявлено всего 17 преступлений на 10 тыс. жителей. Это число выросло на 15,6% по сравнению с прошлым годом. Вторую и третью строчки рейтинга занимают Ингушетия (37 преступлений) и Дагестан (43). В среднем по РФ уровень преступности составил 131 случай на 10 тысяч населения.
Кабардино-Балкария находится на 4-й позиции (76), Ставропольский край — на 15-й (107,2), Карачаево-Черкесия — на 17-й (107,9), Северная Осетия — на 54-й (154,4).

During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
