Была в Shonen Jump такая манга — «Юный лорд — мастер побега». Классический сёнен, но в историческом сеттинге феодальной Японии. Написал ее Юсэй Мацуи, автор «Класса убийц». Манга выиграла Shogakukan Manga Award в 2024, но при этом назвать ее флагманом журнала было сложно.

А потом за ее экранизацию взялась студия CloverWorks и молодой режиссер Юта Ямадзаки. И аниме благодаря анимации и рисунку подняло историю на новый уровень.

Казалось бы обычный сюжет о взрослении вдруг стал напоминать сюрреалистическое искусство, балансирующее между гиперболизированной комедией и жутким хорорром.

Смотря на эти кадры из аниме сложно поверить, что это настоящие сцены из сериала, а не просто концепт-арты.

Даже если вы не любите сёнены, я советую посмотреть сериал ради этой красоты.
