В аэропорту Чебоксары (входит в ГК "Аэрофьюэлз") стартовала реконструкция аэровокзала.

Инвестор вложит в проект 500-550 млн рублей. Обновленный терминал заработает во втором квартале 2023 года. Еще 250–300 млн руб. потребуется на ремонт перрона.

На время реконструкции аэропорт не прекращает работу.

Будут отремонтированы существующие помещения, построены новые объекты, обустроена территория аэровокзала. В результате аэропорт сильно изменится внешне и станет гораздо комфортнее внутри.

Модернизация не приведет к росту цен на авиабилеты, утверждает глава Чувашии Олег Николаев. Инвестор окупит затраты за счет роста пассажиропотока до 500–550 тыс. человек в год.

В 2019 году аэропорт Чебоксары принял 395 тыс. человек, за первое полугодие 2021 года - 197 тыс.
