Посадочная баржа для носителя «Нью Гленн» готовится к первому полёту с посадкой в Майами.

Баржа называется LPV-1 Jacklyn Landing Platform Vessel, IMO: 9998676. Корпус построен на верфи «Констанца» в Румынии, посадочная площадка, двигатели и оборудование — во Франции в Бресте.

Размеры:
• длина 115 м,
• ширина посадочной площадки 55 м,
примерно на 10% больше барж SpaceX.

В отличие от SpaceX, которые шли к многоразовости поэтапно в течение нескольких лет, у «Нью Гленна» будет предпринята попытка посадки первой ступени уже в первом полёте. Полёт с посадкой ожидается в октябре.

He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information.
