Казахстанский банк «Фридом Финанс», который входит в Freedom Holding, запретил переводы с и на карты «МИР» — недоступны как исходящие, так и входящие переводы, соответственно. Решение было принято аккурат после введения США нового пакета санкций.
Отныне отправить деньги держателям карт «Фридом Финанс» можно либо используя систему SWIFT, либо при помощи карт Visa/Mastercard, выпущенных не на территории РФ, либо переводом по номеру телефона через «Цифра банк». Ранее представитель НСПК заявлял, что решения о приеме или об отказе в обслуживании карт «Мир» в зарубежных банках принимают самостоятельно.
