Павлюка задержали в октябре 2022 года вместе с двумя сообщниками по подозрению в вымогательстве. Установлено, что с марта 2021 года по сентябрь 2022 года фигуранты дела организовали преступное сообщество. Они вымогали взятки у пилотов российских авиакомпаний за прикрытие выявленных нарушений.
