Впервые в истории выставочной деятельности в одном пространстве собраны предметы декоративно-прикладного искусства, костюма и быта из собрания Музея-усадьбы И. Е. Репина “Пенаты” и картины И. Е. Репина из многих российских музейных собраний.

Эта редкая возможность возникла в результате того, что дом Репина в Музее-усадьбе “Пенаты” закрывается на реконструкцию и на некоторое время расстается со своими экспонатами.
