Tahoma 是西文 Windows 2000/XP 的用户界面字体，这款字体在注册表中被链接到了宋体。这一设定在 XP + 低 DPI 的时代是比较合理的，因为宋体在当时的屏幕上会显示为内嵌的点阵。（图一，其实是在 Win7 上截的）
但是放到现在的系统 + 高 DPI 的时代（图二），西文比较粗的无衬线体，搭配上中文纤细的宋体，效果属实惨不忍睹
