Вагоны модели 71-911ЕМ производства ПК «Транспортные системы» приобретены по договору лизинга с Государственной транспортной лизинговой компанией.
Ранее в областной центр уже привезли 11 единиц современного электротранспорта.
В настоящий момент производитель осуществляет подготовку для Саратова еще 23 трамваев. Поставка 15 из них ожидается до 15 декабря, еще 8 - в начале следующего года.
Новые вагоны пойдут по реконструированным трамвайным линиям. По новому графику, планируется запустить маршруты NN8, 9 и 6 в апреле 2025 года.
