Театральный фестиваль «Дягилев P.S» всегда проводят в это время, чтобы скрасить нарастающую питерскую тоску. Фестиваль «Дягилев P.S» откроется 6 ноября китайским спектаклем «Отель». Его постановщик Ёхэй Танэда работал над фильмами «Убить Билла» и «Омерзительной восьмеркой». Дальше — испанская постановка «Ночь. Архитектура бессонницы», в которой фламенко соединится с современным танцем. Все они пройдут в театре Балтийский дом.
Главное событие фестиваля — балета «Литургия» в Александринском театре. Это реконструкция несостоявшейся постановки Леонида Мясина из «Русских сезонов». Балет известен своими костюмами, эскизы для которых создала авангардная художница Наталья Гончарова.
Еще в Александринском театре традиционно пройдет Вечер современной хореографии: самые громкие премьеры последнего сезона и архивные спектакли соединятся в одной программе. Бонусом обещают показать небольшой спойлер к следующему сезону.
