Revisited a sketch I drew in preschool: I remember wanting to grow up to be an artist as a child. But, of course—stereotypical of Asian parenting—my dad told me that artists don’t make any money and that all my interests were useless lol. So currently, I am in the midst of breaking out of that conditioning.

I know that not everyone has had a memorable childhood; for some, it’s a time you would rather not revisit. But there is a way to re-live your childhood—not as it was, but as it could have been.

Through the power of imagination, you can reconnect with the essence of your inner child. This isn’t about pretending the past didn’t happen; it’s about giving your inner child the freedom they may not have received.

Start by asking yourself: What would have brought me happiness back then? What did I long for? What dreams or stories do I carry deep inside?

Then, give yourself permission to step into those dreams now. Create the experiences your younger self yearned for, even if they seem small or silly.

Want to imagine a whole new world where you felt safe and celebrated? Build it in your mind, and let that reality become your anchor.

Re-living your childhood isn’t about changing what was; it’s about reclaiming the essence of who you were meant to be before the world shaped you. It’s about remembering the parts of yourself that were buried under pain, fear, or conformity—and allowing those parts to shine, to be seen, again.

Telegram | DID YOU KNOW?

You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. Markets continued to grapple with the economic and corporate earnings implications relating to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. “We have a ton of uncertainty right now,” said Stephanie Link, chief investment strategist and portfolio manager at Hightower Advisors. “We’re dealing with a war, we’re dealing with inflation. We don’t know what it means to earnings.” Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. "He has kind of an old-school cyber-libertarian world view where technology is there to set you free," Maréchal said. Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation.
