В Мариуполе открылся Мемориальный дом-музей советского политического деятеля Андрея Жданова

В прошлом город носил имя этого видного советского политического деятеля.

В музее всего три зала. В одном из них воссоздан рабочий кабинет. Там собраны личные вещи, фронтовые фотографии, карты и ордена партийного функционера. Большая часть экспозиции — о блокаде Ленинграда. Жданов руководил обороной города. Для первых посетителей провели экскурсию. На открытие приехал внук Жданова Андрей Юрьевич. Его семья передала музею архивные документы.

Идея создать музей возникла в ноябре 2023 года на встрече Владимира Путина с представителями Общественной палаты.
