Сахалинская область одной из первых в стране справилась с программой расселения жилфонда, признанного непригодным до 1 января 2017 года. Островной регион стал пилотным в реализации новой программы расселения. Почти 29 тысяч человек должны отметить новоселье в ближайшую пятилетку.
На расселение из ветхого и аварийного жилья выделят 18 миллиардов рублей из федерального бюджета. Об этом во время рабочей поездки вице-премьеров Марата Хуснуллина и Дмитрия Григоренко на Сахалин удалось договориться губернатору Валерию Лимаренко.
Так же 13,5 миллиардов направить на строительство современной взлетно-посадочной полосы в главной воздушной гавани островного региона.
