Губернатор Евгений Куйвашев второй раз за год посетил небольшой город Ирбит на востоке области. В конце мая он провел там выездное заседание правительства. Спустя три месяца глава региона снова приехал на ярмарку и проверил подготовку муниципалитета к 400-летию, которое будет только в 2031 году. Планируется, что власти Свердловской области выделят на развитие Ирбита свыше 18 млрд рублей.
Подобным вниманием к своим юбилеям не могли похвастаться даже самые крупные города Свердловской области - Нижний Тагил и Екатеринбург. Оба отметили 300-летие в 2023-м, и оргкомитеты по подготовке масштабных празднований проходили не чаще раза в год, обычно без участия главы региона.
Может быть все дело в цифре 400. Ведь юбилей маленького свердловского села Гари из-за этой даты пытались превратить в областное достояние. Получилось не очень.
