С этого дня на Руси празднование становилось особенно шумным. Русские катались на лошадях и санях, устраивали кулачные бои, штурмовали посадки снежные городки, потешались над скоморохами и участвовали в других народных забавах.
С четверга особо начинался разгул не только в развлечении, но и в еде. Столы буквально ломились от угощений, покуда считалось: чем сытнее отметить масленицу, тем паче будет год. Кажется, кому-то следует навернуть блинчиков с икрой (можно вот тут)😋
Так что, братцы-русские, следуем заветам предков: едим и радуемся)).
