Находясь в бегах, разыскиваемый совершил убийство на территории Кыргызстана. Кыргызский суд признал его виновным и назначил наказание. После отбытия срока в соседней республике Генпрокуратура Казахстана добилась его экстрадиции.
В Казахстане ему грозит до 12 лет лишения свободы с конфискацией имущества.
