В Забайкалье готовятся к началу окотной кампании, в результате которой весной ожидается приплод от более 100 тысяч овец. В декабре 2024 года завершилась случная кампания, в ходе которой было оплодотворено 101,6 тысячи овец, из которых 20 тысяч с использованием искусственного осеменения.
Овцы находятся на стойловом содержании, а фермерские хозяйства обеспечены кормами для сохранности приплода. Ожидаются первые ягнята в марте, а результаты кампании будут подведены в июне.

Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war.
