⚡️On November 5, Russian Ministry of Emergencies plane delivered more than 19 tons of humanitarian aid to the people of Lebanon. The cargo included essential emergency relief and medicines intended to overcome the severe consequences of the ongoing armed conflict in the country.
👥The ceremony of handing over the humanitarian aid was attended by the Russian Ambassador to Lebanon H.E. Mr. Alexander Rudakov, a.i. Minister of Healthcare H.E. Mr. Firas Abyad, Chairman of the corresponding committee of the Chamber of Deputies Mr. Bilal Abdallah, as well as a number of other local officials in the emergency medical field.
🛫The same plane took 98 Russian citizens (women and children) who were among the most affected by the intense hostilities in the country back to Moscow.
