В это воскресенье 17 ноября, напротив здания посольства РФ в Мадриде, активисты La Asociación de Rusos Libres провели митинг, посвящённый трагической дате 1000 дней войны в Украине. Второй заявленной темой была поддержка политзаключенных в России. Читали последние слова в суде: Надежды Буяновой, Евгении Беркович и Михаила Кригера.
Мероприятие прошло в рамках Всемирной акции свободных россиян, одновременно с большим маршем в Берлине, анонсированным И.Яшиным, Ю.Навальной и В.Кара-Мурзой. В акции также приняли участие представители русскоязычного квир-комьюнити Мадрида, «Free Russia Foundation» и при информационной поддержке «Радио Свобода».

At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. For Oleksandra Tsekhanovska, head of the Hybrid Warfare Analytical Group at the Kyiv-based Ukraine Crisis Media Center, the effects are both near- and far-reaching. Since January 2022, the SC has received a total of 47 complaints and enquiries on illegal investment schemes promoted through Telegram. These fraudulent schemes offer non-existent investment opportunities, promising very attractive and risk-free returns within a short span of time. They commonly offer unrealistic returns of as high as 1,000% within 24 hours or even within a few hours. "There are a lot of things that Telegram could have been doing this whole time. And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes.
