В ДТП на автодороге Рязань–Ряжск в районе посёлка Искра погибла педагог Ряжской детской музшколы Елена Бородина, переехавшая из Белгородской области. В аварии также погибла её мама, пострадали муж и дети, они в реанимации. Очевидцы рассказали, что в момент аварии мимо проезжала скорая помощь, она остановилась, медсестра из бригады помогала достать одного из детей из-под сиденья автомобиля. Для помощи пострадавшим организован сбор средств.
