Автомобиль был арендован через ту же фирму, которую использовал для аренды Ford устроивший вчера теракт в Новом Орлеане. Преступник на нем въехал в толпу людей, встречавших Новый Год.

Также Маск отметил что Cybertruck - худший автомобиль для такого теракта из-за прочнейшего корпуса из нержавеющей стали. Судя по фото, это действительно сыграло свою роль.
