🛳 Губернатор Ленинградской области Александр Дрозденко сообщил, что 9 февраля в его регионе удалось избежать экологической катастрофы с танкером «Коала». Как и в случае с ЧП в Керченском проливе, судно в Ленобласти перевозило мазут. Танкер был загружен 130 тыс. тоннами нефтепродуктов. Во время запуска двигателя «Коалы» произошел взрыв, из-за чего оказалось повреждено машинное отделение. Судно начало тонуть.

Однако специалистам удалось довести танкер «Коала» в порт Усть-Луга и пришвартовать там. Как говорит губернатор Александр Дрозденко, угроза разлива нефтепродуктов отсутствует.

Сейчас экипаж танкера эвакуирован. Пострадавших нет. Проводятся мероприятия по обследованию машинного отделения и установлению причин аварии.
