Законодательный пакет инициирован в парламенте депутатами от «Грузинской мечты» и «Силы народа». Согласно проекту, представленному в парламент, записанные в законах «гендерные» вопросы будут заменены словами «вопросы равенства женщин и мужчин».
Так, термин «нетерпимость по гендерному признаку» будет заменен на «нетерпимость к равенству женщин и мужчин». Слова «гендерно чувствительный», используемые в законе, будут заменены словами «чувствительный к вопросам пола» и прочее.
Законопроект уже передан в парламентские комитеты на рассмотрение.
