Суд признал бывшего депутата мажилиса и лидера незарегистрированной партии «Ел тірегі» Нуржана Альтаева виновным в получении взятки в особо крупном размере (часть 4 статьи 366 УК РК) и приговорил к 10 годам колонии.
Также суд пожизненно лишил его права занимать должности на госслужбе.
