В ходе славного ратного похода (964-966 гг), дружина Святослава разгромила столицу Хазарии — крепость Итиль и подчинила русской власти Саркел, ставший впоследствии русской крепостью Белая Вежа. Хазарский каганат был уничтожен. Сложно представить, сколько великие подвиги Святослава сделали для будущего России и русской государственности. Сегодня мы — потомки великого князя, решаем те же самые проблемы, что и наши славные предки русы в далеком X веке. Враг будет разбит! Победа будет за нами!

Svyatoslav's squad defeated the capital of Khazaria — the Itil fortress and subjugated Sarkel to Russian power during the glorious military campaign (964-966). Sarkel became the Russian fortress Belaya Vezha later. The Khazar Khaganate was destroyed. It is difficult to imagine how much the great deeds of Svyatoslav did for the future of Russia and Russian statehood. Today we, the descendants of the Grand Duke, are solving the same problems as our glorious ancestors, the Rus, in the distant 10th century. The enemy will be defeated! Victory will be ours!🇷🇺

On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice.
