Красноярский край стал одним из лидеров в России по количеству заявок на II муниципальную премию «Служение».

От нашего региона поступило 1373 заявки — это третий результат среди всех регионов. Причем, участвовали абсолютно все муниципалитеты Красноярского края, а многие заявились сразу в нескольких номинациях.

Премия «Служение» учреждена по поручению Президента Владимира Путина. Ею отмечаются люди и команды, которые внесли особый вклад в развитие муниципальных образований и повышение качества жизни россиян.

В этом году на нее подали 41 313 заявок со всех регионов страны. Это вдвое превышает результат прошлого года.

Лучших будут выбирать сами жители — 31 марта на Госуслугах стартует народное голосование.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands.
