Накануне принял участие в праздновании главного праздника специалистов угледобывающей отрасли - Дня шахтера! В шахтёрской столице региона - городе Бородино отметили сразу два события - профессиональный праздник и 75-летие с начала промышленной эксплуатации Бородинского разреза. В ходе праздничных мероприятий состоялось открытие "Аллеи 75-летия Бородинского разреза" с высадкой деревьев, открытие мурала на доме по улице Ленина, д. 63, возложение цветов к мемориалу участникам Великой Отечественной войны на Аллее Памяти, а также праздничный концерт. Был рад принять участие в этих торжественных мероприятиях. От всего сердца поздравляю наших горняков с праздником, желаю крепкого здоровья, счастья, благополучия, новых производственных достижений! Уверен, неисчерпаемый потенциал развития угледобывающей отрасли позволит и в дальнейшем ставить самые амбициозные задачи и добиваться успехов в интересах края и всей страны!

In February 2014, the Ukrainian people ousted pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych, prompting Russia to invade and annex the Crimean peninsula. By the start of April, Pavel Durov had given his notice, with TechCrunch saying at the time that the CEO had resisted pressure to suppress pages criticizing the Russian government. On Feb. 27, however, he admitted from his Russian-language account that "Telegram channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events." This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
