Die U18-Wahlen sind eine Initiative des Deutschen Bundesjugendrings und werden selbstorganisiert durchgeführt. Die Wahlen fanden dieses Mal vom 7. bis 14. Februar in mehr als 1.800 Schulen und Jugendclubs statt. Mehr als 160.000 Kinder und Jugendliche beteiligten sich daran, hieß es.
