«Мне приятно ощущать, что культура, наши традиции - песни, танцы - востребованы. И я очень рад, что Таиланд - это одна из тех стран, где, как я понимаю, создаются хорошие условия для наших соотечественников. Но когда бывают, а они неизбежны, какие-то ситуации, когда приходится выручать людей из довольно непростого положения, то для этой цели это прекрасное здание населено квалифицированными людьми», - сказал министр на встрече с соотечественниками в генконсульстве России на Пхукете.

In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 230 points, or 0.7%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3% and 2.2%, respectively. All three indexes began the day with gains before selling off.
