The task is to redesign the Telegram chat screen and attachment menu on Android. To take part, send one or more PNG documents with the redesigned chat screen to @design_bot. In addition, send a video document demonstrating how you envision the redesigned attachment menu should work (with an emphasis on sharing photos and videos).
We will look for simplicity, usability, consistency when judging the results. If necessary, feel free to change all the colors of the chat UI, including the default background.
We’ll accept new designs up until the 24th of March. We’ll announce one or more winners (depending on the overall quality of mockups submitted) and distribute $15000 among the winners as prizes in the final week of March.

DFR Lab sent the image through Microsoft Azure's Face Verification program and found that it was "highly unlikely" that the person in the second photo was the same as the first woman. The fact-checker Logically AI also found the claim to be false. The woman, Olena Kurilo, was also captured in a video after the airstrike and shown to have the injuries. After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. To that end, when files are actively downloading, a new icon now appears in the Search bar that users can tap to view and manage downloads, pause and resume all downloads or just individual items, and select one to increase its priority or view it in a chat.
