Объединение ФРГ и ГДР: более половины немцев не согласны с тем, что спустя ровно 34 года со дня объединения его можно назвать успешным.

22 декабря 1989 года открылись Бранденбургские ворота. Граждане ГДР могли свободно получать визы и посещать Западный Берлин, ФРГ. Эйфории, чувству свободы не могли помешать мнения скептиков.

Спустя 34 года все представляется не таким радужным. больше половины (56%) опрошенных немцев считают, что объединение ФРГ и ГДР нельзя назвать успешной акцией. Причем считают объединение неуспешным и на Западе (55%), и, тем более, на Востоке (63%).

В 2024 году мы видим идеологически разделенную Германию, обремененную ещё и экономическими проблемами. Население Восточной Германии сокращается, особенно в сельской местности. Молодежь уезжает, а старики остаются.

Опрос в Германии проведен 2 октября 2024 года, в нем приняли участие 2584 человека.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. "Markets were cheering this economic recovery and return to strong economic growth, but the cheers will turn to tears if the inflation outbreak pushes businesses and consumers to the brink of recession," he added. "We as Ukrainians believe that the truth is on our side, whether it's truth that you're proclaiming about the war and everything else, why would you want to hide it?," he said. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy.
