Legal operations manager
for a leading Russian multi-family office
Main responsibilities:
1. Contract Drafting and Review:
• Drafting and negotiating consultancy and agency agreements, including retrocession and client/investor representation agreements in Russian and English
• Drafting and reviewing service agreements, lease agreements, and other legal documents in Russian and English.
2. Corporate Administration:
• Managing the administration of companies in consulting companies in Russia, UAE, and Cyprus
• Handling corporate governance matters such as the appointment of directors, changes in shareholders, employee hiring, and issuance of residency cards
• Updating corporate documents and handling all registration actions.
3. AML Compliance:
• Coordinating the process of updating and collecting client data (KYC) for companies in UAE and Cyprus
• Ensuring compliance with AML regulations overseeing necessary AML declarations in accordance with UAE and Cyprus laws
• Monitoring and controlling compliance with Russian and international AML legislation (115-FZ and international AML policies).
4. Contract Management:
• Storing and tracking the terms of contracts with major suppliers
• Evaluating potential legal and financial consequences in case of contract termination or breach.
5. Data Protection Compliance:
• Ensuring compliance with Russian and European data protection legislation
• Drafting, negotiating, and implementing relevant documents (152-FZ and GDPR).
Requirements:
• Higher legal education from one of the leading universities
• 5 PQE in consulting, the financial sector and/or the management company of a large holding
• Good command of English
• Advanced skills in MS Word and Consultant+, skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams
• Attentive attitude to detail, independence, ability to work in a multitasking environment and under tight deadlines.
