В островной столице установят 400 контейнеров для раздельного сбора пластика, стекла и алюминиевых банок. Собранный мусор планируют вывозить на корсаковский полигон, где его будут сортировать, прессовать и отправлять на материк. В планах перерабатывать отходы на острове. В дальнейшем к раздельному сбору ТКО присоединятся районы и села.
