Собственно, Ингранд и поручил проектирование рабочих мест молодому помощнику Бену Свилденсу, с которым познакомился, когда последний учился в Парижской высшей школе декоративных искусств.

Our Russian members surely remember this line from “Eugene Onegin”, which seems a very fitting description of this work: “They came together. Waves and stones…”. The material is not stones, though. It is steel and what else could it be, if this desk was designed for new HQ of Peugeot in Paris, which were decorated by the studio of Max Ingrand, our favorite glasswork designer, in 1966.
It was Ingrand who entrusted Ben Swildens, his young associate he had earlier met during the latter’s studies at École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, with this project.
