Интересная часть про «Плюс Ультру», что, обычно, идет вместе с колоннами, коими, насколько я понимаю (версии там разные) является Гибралтар (выход из «внутреннего европейского»), коим когда-то владели упомянутые правители. То есть «за пределами» внутреннего европейского или около, если буквально. Но, если совсем аллегорически — «вперед, к бесконечности».
