Зимних сумерек тонкие краски
Удивительно дороги мне.
Сколько доброй, застенчивой ласки
В осветившемся первом окне!

Сколько легкой и радостной грусти,
Так и рвущейся из берегов,
В тишине и в медлительном хрусте
Раздающихся где-то шагов!

Нет мороза сегодня в помине,
Ожидается скоро теплынь,
И торчит на бескрайней равнине
Из-под снега сухая полынь.

И приходят хорошие мысли,
И мечты у тебя широки...
В небе первые звезды повисли,
В окнах тоже горят огоньки.

Постепенно все больше темнеет,
Лишь вдали, где на взгорке село,
Так полоска зари пламенеет,
Словно там еще день и светло...
