на лейбле Upscale свой новый альбом выпустил анонимный австрийский музыкант voljum.
свою музыку voljum даже не пытается уместить в какой-то один жанр, постоянно экспериментируя со звучанием. будучи пианистом, получившим классическое музыкальное образование, к своей смеси из экспериментальных направлений электронной музыки, он примешивает еще и изрядное количество джаза.
новый его альбом global tourist assembly не стал исключением - в 8 треках, целиком построенных на контрастах, музыкант смешивает айдиэм, брейккор, глитчхоп, нейрохоп и джаз, разумеется.
звучит эта работа очень необычно - глючные искореженные перкуссии здесь сменяются прекрасными неоклассическими мелодиями, джазовые зарисовки переходят в каскады скоростных ритмов, а изящные мелодические элементы неизменно сталкиваются с холодными машинными глитчами.
очень крутая работа, прослушивание которой похоже на путешествие сквозь дремучие, колючие заросли - сложное, но захватывающее.
