Приезжали в Дом творчества и гостили здесь известные писатели, поэты, переводчики, драматурги, литературоведы: Александр Солженицын, Анна Ахматова, Виктор Шкловский, Михаил Бахтин, Боб Дилан и Алан Гинзбург. До сих пор тысячи людей приезжают в дома-музеи Бориса Пастернака, Корнея Чуковского, Булата Окуджавы, галерею Евгения Евтушенко.
