Ранее фонд уже проводил подобную операцию. В конце 2018 года у РЖД за 532 млн руб были выкуплены 3 участка, которые впоследствии власти включили в список стартовых площадок. На этих землях находятся бывшие детские сады.
В общей сложности ЖК для реновации появятся на месте бывшего Черкизона, в Мневниковской пойме, возле нескольких ТПУ. Часть жилья для переселенцев возведут на территории бывших промзон.
