Памятник "Паровоз" был установлен в Батайске в 1987 году с мемориальной доской «В память о революционных, боевых и трудовых подвигах батайских железнодорожников».

Локомотив СУ 252-20 простоял в роли памятника 30 лет. Ранее он был действующей подвижной единицей в локомотивном депо "Батайск". В конце 2015 года его заменили на более молодую модель Л-135, а наш старый, как более раритетная модель, отправился в Тихорецк на реконструкцию.

С тех пор он водит поезд "Победы" по жд магистралям нашей страны 🚂
